Brussels Technical Meeting Moves the Project Forward
On 11-13 January 2016 OTN project partners met their counterparts from SDI4Apps project and WWW Consortium (W3C) to take stock of joint activities and agree on the action points for the months ahead. On day one participants discussed OTN’s first White Paper and how to improve its weight as a policy advice document. They also talked about OTN’s cooperation with OGC and W3C and the integration of Open Transport Map into the OTN Hub. On the following day the focus of attention shifted to the second White Paper and the way in which Smart Points of Interest and Open Land Use Map can be used in OTN. The final day of the meeting was dedicated to cooperation with SDI4Apps and in particular its API which can be used to improve generic text search, route calculation, data visualisation and offline map accessibility.
